We woke up that morning and made an amazing breakfast:
Belgium waffles (made from the awesome recipe that calls for yogurt...SO good!!)
Strawberries
Cool whip
Strawberry-peach smoothie
Bacon
and
Love (because it's our anniversary)
Man, I wish it was our Anniversary every day!
Anywho. We ate, and ate...and ate. And finally breakfast was over. We finished getting ready for the day. And then went for a spontaneous drive. It was really fun, and Jeremy just took me to explore. It was nice to sit in the car together and realize that we're married (and have been for a year) that we're having a baby, that we're madly in love with each other, and that we are so incredibly comfortable with one another that it's ridiculous.
After our drive, we hit up a few stores here in Rexburg, just for fun. And we decided to go to a movie at like 3. So we obviously stopped at the dollar store to get some treats. While we were there, we realized we didn't have any fancy cups to drink our sparkling cider in. So we bought some there too. We headed to our movie (Diary of a wimpy kid) and it was ok. To be expected from a movie for children.
Here is evidence:
Jeremy looks extremely happy - and also extremely handsome. I love his beard. I think he looks so HOT when he has a beard...so rugged and manly. I'm a lucky girl.
I, on the other hand, have chubby face. I probably only should have had an apple for breakfast. Since I am already 30 pounds heavier than normal.
But, what can you do?
After the movie, we went to Idaho Falls and had dinner at Chili's. Not the best experience we've had. And I LOVE chili's! So I was a bit disappointed. We finally headed back to Rexburg, and it was getting a bit dark. I told Jeremy that I desperately wanted to go star gazing, so we came to the apartment and picked up some blankets and drove. We went out to a place called "the haunted swing" it's usually where couples go to make out, because it's so secluded. And sure enough there was another couple there, probably making out. And we interrupted...
We laid out our blankets, and pulled out some dollar store treats (Charleston chews) and ate and watched. I saw a shooting star too!
It eventually got too cold to stay out any longer, so we packed up our blankets and headed back home.
But I did insist on a make out session at the haunted swing, since it was my first time there with a boy. We realized that being married rocks, because making out is better in the comfort of your own home - in your bed.
Once we got home, we busted open the cider - and drank until I wanted to throw up a bit. Too much apple juice for my pregnant belly.
It was a great anniversary. And I love Jeremy so much. I can't wait for the many more to come.
Yall are so cute! And sheila you totally dont have chubby face! You look dang good! Crazy a year...Married life is the greatest!
